AMBER & LEONARDO
On 22 March in the medieval interior of St. John's Centre in Gdansk an unprecedented event took place - AMBER & LEONARDO - art jewellery exhibition, fashion show and lecture - all inspired by Renaissance and the phenomenon of creative versatility of Leonardo da Vinci. Over 30 artists from all over the world invited by Art7 owner - Wojciech Kalandyk - exhibited their art jewellery with amber. A symbolic act of giving name LEONARDO GEDANENSIS to a piece of amber for the first time in history was held to underline the idea of Renessaince of amber in art and jewellery.
